Careers - System Support Engineer (f/m)
To strengthen our team we would like to fill the position in Hamburg at the earliest possible opportunity. The candidate will remotely assist our customers on a multitude of tasks related to our distributed platform. In addition the candidate will design and implement Linux-centric projects.
Your Tasks
- Pro-actively schedule software upgrades with our customers and support them remotely in case of problems
- Provide assistance and support to technical staff of our customers
- Supervise trial installations on-site and/or remotely test new software releases
- Design and implementation of projects (i.e. automated tests or installation)
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree (BSc) or Information Technology Specialist (f/m)
- Strong Unix background and debugging skills
- Internet networking experience (tcpdump knowledge)
- Bash scripting
- Interest in the product and company life
- Proficient in German and English
Desired Skills
- VOIPFUTURE systems are based on C++, Java, Tomcat and Postgres, Experience with these technologies is a plus
- Expertise in the Voice over IP (VoIP), Next Generation Networks (NGN) or IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) area
