With support from its investor, Hasso Plattner Ventures, VoIPFuture Ltd. has been able to enlist a well-reputed expert from the international telecommunications arena as an extension to its management team. With immediate effect Jan Bastian (40) is the CEO of the dynamically growing technology company. In doing so, he is joining the management team of founders Olaf Zäncker (CTO) and Ralf Losse (COO).
Bastian was most recently a member of the board at TELES AG, responsible for the Telecommunications Systems (TCS) business unit. Under his leadership the TCS unit developed into a Next Generation Network (NGN) player in the international competitive environment. Big-name carriers were able to be acquired as customers. Jan Bastian is rated an expert for NGN/IMS technology and has excellent sales and market skills. He received his degree in Information Technology from the Technical University of Berlin and began his career at Dr. Materna GmbH in Dortmund; he was additionally employed as a consultant for Delta Tech Research based in Montreal, Canada.
