QuickNet AB realizes premium voice services using the RTP monitoring solution from the telco specialist Voipfuture.
Hamburg, Germany – 15th February, 2010 - The Swedish telecommunications provider QuickNet AB, the regional market leader from the Swedish town of Västerås (approximately 100 km west of Stockholm) is investing in top-level technology from German company Voipfuture to improve the voice quality of its telephone network. the RTP monitoring solution supplied by the Hamburg based technology provider enables the voice service provider QuickNet AB to precisely monitor and analyze the voice quality of each individual telephone call of its entire IP network in real time. This technology is the solution for Connection Quality Monitoring and Service Assurance. It provides the tools for keeping QuickNet’s promise to more than 1,500 business customers as the first provider in Sweden to transmit telephone calls at a first-rate and uniformly high quality.
The RTP monitoring solution enables the city carrier to reliably recognize quality degradation and variations in voice transmission in its broadband network, to identify their respective causes and remedy them. QuickNet is therefore in a position to ensure uniformly high voice quality which clearly is a match for the quality offered by traditional landline networks. With this the provider can score in the competitive carrier environment and provides a perceivable extra benefit for the customer.
“We had already been looking for that type of solution for some time to get a reliable in-phase view of our network so that we can follow up queries and complaints from our customers as quickly as possible and remedy the causes,” explains Jan Synnersten, CEO of QuickNet. “Previously, we had to rely on feedbacks from our customers to optimize our network and troubleshooting has taken us time and work. Once we had installed the Voice Service Monitoring product from Voipfuture, we were able to see system changes and quality variations in real time and therefore could proactively tackle their causes before customers started complaining. Moreover, we can now reduce the time required for fine tuning to a couple of days.”
“Using Voipfuture’s solution, QuickNet is able to offer premium voice services greatly improve and optimize its network performance and guarantee uniform high standards of quality on top. The result is that carriers can tap into an extra source of revenue while at the same time improving customer satisfaction and loyalty,” adds George Lunguran, Sales Director at Voipfuture.
